" i want to start all over.”

This is a sentence, I have heard from several people. I too admit to making this statement actually more than once .We wish to get to our goals leaving back all the things that prevented us from becoming the person we want to be. For the countless mistakes we’ve made, we wish to have the restart button that can renew our whole entire life. More than once reality has taught us that’s not how it all works .It takes more than a button to be successful.

Faults to let go…….we mostly begin with a declaration of starting afresh but as they say actions speak louder than words ,so it is in the whole course of change .no fresh beginning is possible if your withered ends still hang by .We make excuses for our faults that we don’t realize they are the reasons for our falling ,we hold on to the blocks of our faults that its even tougher to stand .Just like some ladies hide their damaged part of their chitenge without sewing it back ,same way we disguise our wrongs and cover them up…to choose change we must choose to give up bad habits and take a stand of our words .Identify the damaged part and sew it.

What to hold…with everyone having that bad side ,we all have the good side too.I say don't throw it away ,develop that good side to overcome Negativity .Take it as the already burning candle that you will use to light up the rest of the flamed out candles, the part of a clothing that’s intact to replace the former. Hold on to your goods and take that change.

Patience……we wished the restart button existed because we want quick change .we want to snap that finger and make the magic happen; Change is no way like that. Patiently we must sew through, otherwise fast made knots spoil fast. We don’t want to slowly take our change but want the fast track out and when things blow up we give up. Like Marcel Proust says we don’t discover wisdom; we must discover it for ourselves after a journey no one can take for us or spare us, if we hold no patience the wise choices we have to learn will all be something that is none existent to us.

Perseverance…. When things take a round turn don’t quit, hold on and try till you can’t. Victory must come to the most persevering. When sewing cotton runs out put some more. You on your journey to a new you...gear up and let’s do this.

Around you….what’s good remains good and most likely the good change affects all except for those who want bad for you in a positive way .Don’t dwell on those wishing ill for you but do some justice .That self love you have must go hand in hand with love for others .Put in `a good restart to inspire others to also start over and create a conducive place for you and them too .Also run around with decent people and your own decent instincts will be strengthened .If not, start the trend and that way you will inspire others with your change.

Fall in love with your change and embrace It .I know most times we consider ourselves unable to change. You are worth the try and you are capable .Don’t be so afraid of falling again …put experience as the name for your mistakes. Get up and readily sew your way through the restart.
